Hal Leonard Corporation has appointed Joe Burzinski to the newly created position of vice president – digital enterprise solutions. Burzinski has served as the manager of systems design for the company since his hiring in 1998.

Burzinski and his team have positioned Hal Leonard at the forefront of the digital revolution, providing quality, legal content – print music, lyrics, streaming audio & video lessons, trade books and much more – on demand, via every viable new digital delivery channel. As part of his expanded duties, Burzinski will take on a larger role in working with in-house staff, as well as third party technology companies, to further exploit such assets.

As a member of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Burzinski performed under such celebrated conductors as Eugene Ormandy, Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Mehta and André Previn, to name but a few. After graduation, Burzinski was appointed principal trumpet of the National Orchestra of New York. He continues to perform with the Wisconsin Philharmonic and the Festival City Symphony.
