New Brand Identity for NEMC

National Educational Music Co (NEMC) has announced the introduction of a new and expansive technology presence and a set of community building services designed to provide engaging resources for music retailers, educators, parents and students across the country.
At the NAMM show beginning January 19, 2012 (booth #3421), NEMC will unveil a new brand identity that captures this new initiative and highlights its rich heritage of providing top quality new and like-new musical instruments.
With its new direction focused firmly on technology, NEMC aims to increase the competitiveness and profitability of retailers affiliated with the NEMC program. This content-rich portal will provide NEMC affiliates with a customized 24/7/365 online musical instrument rental capability and will increase local awareness, promote music advocacy and generate sales traffic for its affiliated dealers. “We have met with retailers, educators, parents and suppliers to integrate their needs into our first step of this exciting strategy,” said David Benedetto, Sr VP of Sales and Marketing at NEMC.
NEMC will also release the details for its first ever nationwide contest at the NAMM show. As part of NEMC’s desire to encourage music participation and assist educators who are working within tight budgets, this contest has been created to reward both the student and music educator for music achievement, creativity and local band participation. Contest details will be released at the NAMM show and can be viewed at the newly branded NEMC exhibit or at www.nemc.com.
