AIMM Names Anning Executive Director

AIMM, the Alliance of Independent Music Merchants, has appointed of John Anning to the position of executive director.
Prior to joining AIMM Anning worked as a sales representative, national sales manager, and marketing executive for manufacturers in consumer electronics, home theater, sound contracting, and in the musical instrument industries. John brought to AIMM this extensive background and perspective from the manufacturers’ viewpoint, which has helped build a bridge of understanding between AIMM’s retail and vendor members. In his new role as executive director Annings’s responsibilities will build on that foundation.
