2013 Sabian ‘Cymbal Vote’

Throughout September and October, drummers from around the world will get to decide which new cymbals Sabian will release in 2013 – but this year, most will be able to play them in person before voting!

Multiple sets of the 12 new cymbal models developed by Savian’s Vault team will be shipped to select dealers worldwide, allowing customers to try them first-hand. In a series of events, Sabian endorsers will be on location to play the cymbals along with their fans.

For those who are unable to get out and play the cymbals in person, the Cymbal Vote website will once again feature video of Sabian artists playing and commenting on the 12 models. Top players like Mike Portnoy, Ray Luzier and Tony Royster Jr. will take the cymbals for a test-drive and allow their views to be heard.
