Cambridge’s Guitar Stop Celebrates 50 Years

Guitar Stop®, a family-owned and operated MI retail outlet in Cambridge, Mass., is celebrating it’s 50th year in business.  [In 1988, when it was still known as ‘Central Sales,’ and I was 14, I purchased a Hyundai – yes, the same as the car manufacturer – J-Bass clone, which I still have (and occasionally still use!) from this store – Ed.]

During the month of September 2012, Guitar Stop will be running a special promotion, with the prize winners drawn on Sunday 09/30/12. 1st prize: Fender Standard Strat; 2nd Prize: Takamine Acoustic/ Electric Guitar model EG440CSTRY; and 3rd Prize: Cordoba UP10 Ukulele.  In honor of the business’ 50th Anniversary Guitar Stop will be donating to the Cambridge Community Foundation to Support Music Education in Cambridge Mass.
