Casio Launches Four New Privia Models at Beyond Sound

September 25, 2012

To celebrate the evolution of its popular Privia digital piano line, Casio America, Inc. hoseted “Beyond Sound” in early September at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The launch party also commemorated the significant milestones Casio has reached within the musical instrument category.

Building upon its current collection of technologically-advanced electronic musical instruments, Casio introduced four new models to its Privia line of digital pianos at Beyond Sound – the PX-150, PX-350, PX-750 and PX-850. Equipped with Casio’s new proprietary sound source, “AiR” (Acoustic and intelligent Resonator), the new Privia models deliver unmatched realism and detail.

“We are extremely excited to celebrate the arrival of the next generation of the Privia digital piano line,” said Stephen Schmidt, vice president of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instruments Division. “Casio prides itself in continuing to evolve the Privia line, as well as all of its musical instruments, in order to meet the needs of today’s musicians and provide them with quality products to express their passion of music and performance.”

Artists including Karmin, Tom Brislin, and Enferno performed at Beyond Sound II, where attendees experienced firsthand the four new Privia digital pianos in addition to other key models in Casio’s growing portfolio.
