NAMM Musikmesse Russia Unveils Pavilion Classique

NAMM Musikmesse Russia and Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia will return to Moscow from May 16 to 19, 2013. Following last year’s debut gathering, new event feaures will provide more educational and product opportunities for all involved, while popular programs including Piano Days return.

In order to present classical instruments in all of their glory, a “Pavilion Classique” will be introduced for the 2013 show. The area encompasses two halls and features large panoramic windows overlooking the Moscow River.

A diverse program of seminars, master classes and concerts will be held in conjunction with the Pavilion Classique to enhance the show experience and showcase this segment of the market. Among the session highlights already announced is “Youth and Classical Music,” a roundtable organized in conjunction with the Russian State Music TV/Radio Center.
The Russia event’s website will feature a special Pavilion Classique section dedicated to classical music news from the industry and exhibitors. A series of programs on the Orpheus classical radio station will run in correlation. Exhibitors are invited to take part in these biweekly radio programs to promote their products and touch on industry issues.

After a successful debut at the 2012 show, Piano Days put on in association with the Russian Association of Piano Tuners will return with valuable educational sessions designed for piano tuners. More than 150 piano technicians from Russia, CIS and other countries took part in the sessions. NAMM Musikmesse Russia exhibitors are invited to hold a piano related master class or workshop featuring their brand’s products.

All trade show events are held with support from the Russian State Ministry of Culture and Russian State Ministry of Education.
