UK Lottery Winner Closes MI Store

January 10, 2013

As previously reported in MMR, Gillian and Adrian Bayford from Haverhill, Suffolk in the UK won £148.6 million (the biggest ever EuroMillions payday) in the summer of 2012.   After the win, Gillian, proprietor of the Suffolk Music Centre, announced his intention to remain in business and continue to serve the local music community.

It’s now being reported that he has decided to close the shop, “due to the abuse he was getting from people who went in demanding money.”   Bayford held a final sale before Christmas.
