Roland Digital Accordion Orchestra at Falcetti Music

Roland USA recently announced the forming of the 1st United States Digital Accordion Orchestra.  On January 20, the Orchestra’s first rehearsal was held in the performance hall at Falcetti Music in Springfield, Mass.  Featuring over 20 Roland Digital Accordion  performers  from throughout New England and  conducted by Mr. Falcetti, the Orchestra will be complimented by drums, percussion, guitar, and vocalists.

The premier performance of USA’s 1st Roland Digital Accordion Orchestra will take place at the 51st New England Music Festival at the Newton Marriott in Newton, Mass. on Sunday, April 7th at 4:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom.

Performing in the Orchestra are three family members, Sam Falcetti’s wife Peggy on bass, their son Michael in the first section and Michael’s son, Daniel, on mallet percussion.  Their son Anthony and his son Nicolas are the Orchestra’s sound technicians.
