This year, Music China will be held from October 11 – 14 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in China and is expected by organizers to attract more than 50,000 visitors from around the world.

D’Addario & Co, Inc. recently announced that U.S. Senator Charles Schumer visited the company headquarters located in Farmingdale, N.Y. to request the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Office of U.S. Trade Representative to commence a coordinated investigation of Chinese counterfeiters who manufacture and distribute counterfeit D’Addario products.
This year’s annual conference in was the largest in Asia, and featured a wealth of industry seminars, as well as a record breaking number of exhibitors (over 1,200 )from 27 countries for the Music China show and 400 exhibitors from 19 countries for ProLight and Sound.
