Gator Cases has broadened its ICON Series with a fresh collection of semi-rigid bags designed for DJs and creators needing structured storage and protected transport for controllers, headphones and accessories. The release includes bags sized for large, medium and small DJ controllers, along with an ICON Series backpack and a headphone bag that share the same construction approach.
The controller bags feature a multi-layered semi-rigid design with a weather-resistant 1000D nylon exterior and a red tricot-lined interior intended to cushion equipment during transport. Each model includes an adjustable foam-block system and hook-and-loop straps to help fit a range of controller sizes, with the large version supporting controllers up to 31.5”, the medium version up to 26” and the small version up to 20”. External construction on each bag includes reinforced padded handles, TSA lock-friendly zippers, rubber bumpers and hideaway backpack straps equipped with a built-in bottle opener.
Organization across the series is supported by a front pocket with Mil-Spec webbing and accessory sections sized for items such as microphones, cables, adapters and media. Each bag includes a pop-out luggage tag for identification and a serialized QR ID tag to support product registration and recovery in the event of loss. Front-mounted D-rings allow attachment of the optional ICON headphone bag, which uses a semi-rigid construction with a 1000D nylon exterior and a 420D red ripstop interior. The headphone bag includes a hook-and-loop strap to secure headphones, Mil-Spec webbing for accessories and a compact organization system for smaller items, such as batteries and aux cables.
The ICON Series backpack uses the same semi-rigid construction as the rest of the line, in a format flexible enough for DJs, content creators, gigging musicians and everyday use. A clamshell opening reveals two padded 10.5”-wide laptop compartments lined in red tricot, while a concealed rear pocket provides fitted storage for tablets. Additional storage areas support smaller accessories, and a serialized QR ID tag is included for registration and recovery. External dimensions are 19.50” x 13.00” x 9.00” (49.5 x 33.0 x 22.9 cm) (L x W x H).
These additions align with the broader ICON Series, which began with guitar-focused models and has recently moved into percussion instruments.
